1. Who we are
Go Self-Employed (go-self-employed.com) is operated by StartSorted, the data controller for personal information collected through this site. Contact: hello@startsorted.co.uk.
2. What we collect and why
- Purchase details. When you buy My Self-Employment Plan, payment is handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email address and confirmation of payment — never your card details.
- Questionnaire answers. After purchase you complete a questionnaire about your business idea, experience, finances and goals. We use these answers solely to prepare for your call and produce your plan.
- Booking details. Call bookings are handled by Calendly, which shares your name, email and chosen time with us.
- Email. We use your email address to deliver the service — confirmations, your questionnaire link, and your finished plan. If we send anything beyond service delivery, you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Site analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused tool that does not use cookies or track you across sites.
3. Cookies
This site sets one first-party cookie ("gse_attr") when you arrive via a tagged link or QR code. It records the campaign source that brought you here, for up to 90 days, so that if you later purchase we know which of our materials worked. It contains no personal information and is not shared with advertisers.
4. Who processes your data
We use the following processors to deliver the service: Stripe (payments), Formspree (questionnaire submissions), Calendly (call booking), Cloudflare (site hosting and analytics), and our email service provider (service emails). Each processes your data under its own safeguards and only as needed to provide the service.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your questionnaire answers and plan for as long as reasonably needed to support you as a client and meet legal and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to processing or request portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@startsorted.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
7. Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date.
